Q: Do you spray your blueberry bushes?
A: We are a 100% organic blueberry farm. This means that we protect our bushes using only organically approved, specifically targeted, biological pesticides including Spinosad and Bacillus Thuringiensis, as well as pyrethrins, Milky Spore, Diatomaceous earth, & Neem oil.
Q: Are you wheelchair/walker accessible?
A: The check-in porch has a ramp and close parking. While the blueberry patch is unpaved and the ground uneven in some places, the first few rows of blueberries are easily accessed from the parking area.
Q: May I place an order for blueberries if I don't want to pick my own?
A: We often have a few lbs on hand for those who want to bypass picking but we recommend giving us a call before you come. We also accept orders. Delivery times vary depending on staff availability.
Q: When do you open/close for the season? How much time is left in the season?
A: Many factors contribute to our decision of when to open and close for the season, not the least of which is the ripeness, quantity, & the quality of the blueberries. We generally open during the second week of July and the season lasts an average of four weeks although some years, it may last as long as six. We routinely evaluate the patch throughout the season to ensure you are always picking the freshest, most delicious berries possible. We will always keep this website up to date with the most current information so please check in before you make the drive.
